Hello lovely readers!
I was blessed with the opportunity to visit the beautiful Indonesian island of Bali for a holiday (of which I think I deserved). I had the most amazing time and I thought I would share it with you all :)
I had always wanted to visit a small island and be able to experience the hustle and bustle of the markets and the streets with all the motorbikes. I kid you not there was a bike with 5 chickens on it. It was really amazing to be able to see all of the beautiful temples and learn a bit about their religion. I also really really really enjoyed being able to take the time to enjoy just the simplest things such as reading a book by a beautiful pool and tucking into a big plate of noodles... for breakfast! YUM. Im in the process of studying for big exams so it was lovely to be able to sit with a book in my hands that wasn't full of maths equations and biology terms.
I really recommend Bali for a weeks get away to explore a culture much different from our own. I enjoyed finding the small things that made this place so special.
Hope you are all enjoying your week and have enjoyed reading my very first post!
The plane journey took 4 hours and I enjoyed watching the clouds below. This never gets old!
Statues were found around every corner. I think its important to appreciate these small treasures.
Lilies were found in ponds around the resort displaying beautiful colours.
Really loved this series! I have read this a few times and each time I find myself wanting to read it again.

Where have you been to escape the buzz?
